Internet time moves fast. cycles of Crypto / Digital Art are dizzyingly dramatic. in Crypto ppl use the word ‘choppy’ to describe the waters that we navigate. easy to get seasick when we’re try’N to make our ways
film festivals && the film making process for artists is by contrast extremely slow moving. in my experience ppl spend years making their personal Art films. this is the case for those that are fully funded as well as for those that are no-budget productions. curators && film festival programmers have the expectation that within a year or so, mayhaps 2 years from the release of a film, the filmmaker will be in production or finishing their next film
