Our recent transition to digital, during the late 20th and early 21rst Century, is both technological and social. This is the meaning of the term ‘technosocial’. Technosocial changes transform our cultures on many different levels. The Digital Revolution is and was a technosocial turning point. Now digital is the dominant experience of Media Art. Digital files are always already available for remix. This is a special quality of Digital Art which is an important part of our cultures and technologies.
