i love Haydiroket Art! Animated GIFs, glitches, games, pixels, memes, and AI all come together in the Digital Art that Haydiroket creates. His work has all the bright colors and high contrasts that eternally capture our attention. His Art pops and loops into infinity, from 2 frame animations to complex 3D worlds that he handcrafts. Pouring out of the overturned cornucopia of Internet, i’ve curated this solo exhibition of hAyDiRoKeT Art called GLITCH SUMMER FUN. This exhibition draws from my collection of his work for almost 15 years.
Many Digital Artists recognize that we are part of Pop cultures and Pop Culture is part of us. This is especially true on Internet in the 21rst Century. Internet changes everything. For Haydiroket, Internet also introduced him to Animated GIFs in the 1990s. Like me, he was immediately attracted to using the Animated GIF as a form of artistic expression. We can, as he says, “express ourselves in an easy, funny, and artistic way”.
