As artists, we can use Generative AI Art to transform ourselves into true expressions of who we really are, who we know ourselves to be, internally. “Cowboy skull wearing sunglasses” is the simple text prompt i added to my self-portrait photograph to generate a new image that never existed before. Midjourney attempts to understand, interpret, and create this transformation, turning me into my Glitch Western nonlinear storytelling self, a Memento mori, i send back in time to myself from the futures’ past.
