As i wrote for the Glitch Western exhibition i curated at my Glitch Art Gallery: The cowGirl arrives in our Glitch Western world, ushered into existence by Brazilian contemporary artist Estelle Flores. Working across blockchains, Flores brings her creations through many different technologies of simulation. In this series, called realGirls, she describes her work as “outputs from my models of Stable Diffusion AI fine-tuned to the style of Contain Real Ingredients, my first NFT collection, consisting of images made inside the game The Sims 4.” Her previous series, that she refers to, Contain Real Ingredients, is a collection of “paintings made by sims based on the reference photos they take inside the game.” From these perspectives, we can see the cowGirl’s journey out from The Sims game…
