folks are asking me:

“how is Midjourney video? is it really that good?”
when they see my work they wonder how i made it
conspiring w nonhuman forces
&& i tell them:

i approach working w AI the same way i approach cameras or found footage filmmaking, meaning,
i don’t ever expect AI / ML outputs to fully realize my ideas

we make materials i can work w,
to create my Glitch Western Art

in the case of Midjourney’s new video capabilities,
we must
☞ carefully select which images to animate,
☞ then edit those bits && pieces into complete thoughts,
☞ and scoring everything with my original musics.

so no, Midjourney can’t do what i’m sharing —
but i can, by intentionally glitching it forward.
AI doesn’t complete the work,
but together we create
the conversation!
